Hollywood's Board

Details of the Board are as follows:

James Holmes (aged 36), Non-Executive Chairman

James is a director of Merchant House Group Plc. and is Principal of a London based business and vocational management school aimed at emerging European markets. James sits on the Company’s remuneration, audit and AIM compliance committees. His role is to oversee the running of the Board and with Martin Eberhardt co-ordinate investor relations.

Martin Eberhardt ACA (aged 48), Chief Executive and acting Finance Director

Martin qualified as a chartered accountant with Touche Ross in 1985. He spent 10 years with KPMG in senior management positions. From 1997 to 2004, he was finance director and latterly acting as chief executive officer of Roxspur PLC (now TTG Europe plc), which was a fully listed manufacturing, systems and distribution group based in the UK and Europe. He is non-executive chairman of Merchant House Group plc a director of the Christian Alliance Housing Association Limited and of Chariot UK Plc. As Chief Executive of the Company, Martin takes overall responsibility for the execution of the Group’s agreed strategy, leading investor relations, negotiations on potential acquisitions and the delivery of the Group’s results in line with agreed performance targets. Martin is also acting finance director, pending the appointment of a permanent finance director.

Carl Lindsay (aged 56), Operations Director

Carl has been in the catering trade since leaving school, initially working in the hotel sector both in the UK and Europe. In 1976, Carl managed a restaurant/wine bar and subsequently ran his own restaurant and wine bar until joining Sutcliffe Catering in 1988, part of the Granada Group and latterly Compass Group plc. Carl was employed within the C4E Group until recently. He is responsible for the operational performance of the Group as well as customer relations at a senior level and takes the lead on significant contract bids.

Michael Johnson (aged 57), Non-Executive Director

Mike entered the legal profession in 1967 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1974. During a career spanning more than 35 years, he worked at four leading City law firms. From 1980 to 2006, Mike was with Nabarro where he acted for a number of listed, Unlisted Securities Market and AIM companies, advising on a wide range of corporate matters including primary and secondary fundraisings, takeovers, mergers and acquisitions as well as providing ongoing advice on regulatory and compliance issues. Mike sits on the remuneration, AIM compliance and audit committees of the Board.

Sean Reel (aged 44), Non-Executive Director

Sean Reel has worked at senior management and Board level in large companies including Boots Plc, IPC Media and Haymarket. Sean was a member of the MBO board when IPC Media was sold to AOL for £1.1Bn. During his career Sean has managed large brands and sales teams with turnover of over £500m. In 2005, Sean floated MediaZest Plc a media business he founded and recently has been an active investor and advisor to a number of AIM listed and private companies.

Senior Management

Stephen Rymer – Facilities Director of Hollywood

Steve is experienced in the facilities services sector and primarily oversees the facilities hire function. He is responsible for bookings, coordinating dates on site and scheduling, client relationships and gaining new work. Steve is site-based and oversees the running of all locations. 

Paul Booth (aged 44), Managing Director The Casting Suite and Production Switchboard

Paul has a management background in pre-production, advertising and marketing having worked at Grey Advertising, Arc International advertising (including 10 years on Rupert Murdoch's News International account) and was Marketing Director for the launch of Quantum New Media in 2000, one of the first digital agencies in the UK. Paul is responsible for strategic development and day-to-day operations of the Casting Suite and Production Switchboard.
